About Me
Welcome to Mirari Coaching and Consulting Services! My name is Sarina Nicole Bland. For over 10 years, as a Professional Tarot Consultant and Life Coach, I have helped people to transform their personal and professional lives. My work on the Tarot as a tool for self-development and self-awareness has been published in Tarot Traditions (an accredited Tarot Journal) and I also contributed to Trinidad’s now defunct wellness quarterly “Anchor Magazine”. My work has also been featured in the Trinidad Guardian.
My coaching practice developed naturally out of my tarot counseling practice. I found that many people were stuck in negative thought patterns that isolated one-off sessions did not always counter. I wanted to create a system that would allow my clientele to develop and build on the work that we do during a session. As I have been an intuitive counselor for over 10 years in this arena, and had also done training as a peer counselor in high school and college, when I learned about coaching the transition seemed effortless and logical.
The Trinidad Guardian
“[Sarina puts her energy] into helping clients sort through their emotions and personal baggage, more like a psychotherapist than a psychic.”
Combining my first-hand knowledge of launching, marketing and running small businesses along with a series of successful self-improvement workshops and classes I launched Mirari Coaching & Consulting Services in 2004 as a safe haven for businesses and individuals to create sustained ‘transformative’ changes in their daily dealings.
Few things are as powerful to me as affecting my clients in real, long-lasting ways. I love that moment when they really begin to believe in themselves, breaking through obstacles that to them were permanent and immutable!
Elspeth Brierley, Trinidad:
“Sarina’s coaching gave me the tools to make a 3 year dream a reality. Her coaching is a great combination of inspiration, and hardnosed methodology. She helped me clarify the issues and persisted through my blocks and inner resistance until the path was totally cleared. Cannot recommend her enough.”
Regardless of the size of the project, I hold the following core beliefs about those that I work with:
1) You have something unique to offer the world
2) You deserve my support, not my judgment
3) You already know (on a gut level) what you need to do
4) Every success, no matter how small, warrants acknowledgment
5) The Universe wants you to prosper
Past successes included:
• becoming an International Resource Consultant for Prudential’s Global Workforce
• facilitating a weekend retreat for one of Trinidad’s fastest growing Web Development firms
• coaching Directors at local oil and pharmaceutical companies
In 2006 a life-changing car accident forced me to suspend my coaching practice. One year later I was offered the opportunity to host on-air readings on 103.5 FM, an opportunity which I readily took. This show is currently the only way that the public has to receive a reading from myself. Now, 5 years later, the time feels right to relaunch this site, over the coming months l will be gradually offering a new combination of workshops, seminars and services. Stay Tuned!
PERSONAL HISTORY
I am a 1998 Departmental Honors Graduate (accelerated program) in Film and Sociology from Smith College. While in college I produced and scripted several pieces for broadcast on community television and PBS, as well as a critically appraised short film. My work in multimedia taught me the importance of using different modes of conveying information for maximum retention. A skill that I incorporate in my coaching work today.
Upon graduation I worked for one year in software development in Connecticut. With the skills that I developed in that position she returned to my native Trinidad a year later and launched several successful endeavours between 1999 and 2004:
• Trinidad-Online.org (a cultural web portal) which was featured, along with its creator, in the book The Internet: An Ethnographic Approach
• De Rumshop Lime (for many years the largest Trinidadian chat community on the Internet)
• Kalypso, a self-published political publication
• Taurus Designs (a freelance marketing, copywriting, graphic design business)
• Underwire a critically acclaimed Trinidad and Caribbean music internet radio station which was featured in the book “Rough Guide To Internet Radio”.
After my 2006 accident my physical and mental recuperation led to the launching of several additional ventures. These sites, along with this one, are now collectively part of the SarinaNow Network.
• TriniGourmet.com – an award winning, kosher Caribbean food blog
• SarinaStyle - fashion and beauty blog, which serves as an online complement to my nationally top-ranked Avon/mark business
• LegionaireNow.com – promotional site for my musical dalliances

by Lisa Allen-Agostini The first card to fall was the Devil. Twisted horns rose from his goatish face. It didn’t seem like a good omen, and as the tarot reader Sarina confirmed, it wasn’t. “When this card pops up, there ...
